Deaf Asia Foundation

MATA TECH EXPO (MTE) is the specialized event for ensuring equal access for the deaf, hard of hearing and PWD/POD (Person with disabilities/ Persons of Determination) communities to all of life’s opportunities.

MTE’s mission is to serve Deaf, Hard of Hearing and PWD/POD individuals, their families and the community by delivering innovative programs, products and solutions to achieve full communication accessibility through one in all stop event. MTE is part of MATA EXPO International. MATA EXPO International is the trade show in the different countries and it has been established since 2005.

MTE is one of GreenVAS Communications’ corporate social responsibility projects. It gives back to the Deaf community in the world by empowering their education and employment accessibility. It gives free accessibility services to the underprivileged deaf students and employees i.e. video remote interpreting, live captioning, and text-to-sign language video apps. It also provides free media broadcasting network for the Deaf community called MATA NEWS Philippines (highlighted news in the Filipino Sign Language).
