DRIVING SIMULATOR-BASED SOLUTIONS FOR ASSESSMENT AND REHABILITATION

SimFit2Drive is a research-based company that develops driving simulators for applications in medical fitness-to-drive and rehabilitation.

Our simulator-based driving assessment systems are an all-in-one solution for the measurement of motoric, sensory-motoric and cognitive capabilities of elderly drivers and those with either physical or cognitive impairments.

The unit has been proven over several years in Europe and has been adopted by the leading mobility centres in the UK.

In addition to the assessment system, we are now launching a version with built-in, serious-game based treatment scenarios for use in a neurorehabilitation or physiotherapy environment. The system utilises patients' existing automatic pathways to activate and promote other capabilities. It combines physical and cognitive rehabilitation for those with acquired or traumatic brain injuries, neurodegenerative conditions and a range of other indications.

SimFit2Drive is therefore an ideal and engaging tool for rehabilitating patients to driving, helping drivers understand when they should consider no longer driving, and also for general rehabilitation, even when a return to driving is not possible.
