Emirates Down Syndrome Association
A Public Benefit Association accredited by the Ministry of Community Development in 2006 to serve people with Down Syndrome from birth, and for all ages and nationalities.
Since its establishment, the association has served 714 beneficiaries in the areas of family counseling, early intervention, special education, behavior modification, and allied therapeutic services such as physiotherapy, occupational and speech therapy as well as rehabilitation and educational classes. In addition to sports programs, arts, and skill development programs.
The association has also launched several sustainable projects, the most important is the creative kitchen, which offers professional training in cooking and hospitality, the photography club, the robotics and artificial intelligence club, as well as sports programs, art, and skill development programs.
