UAE Rare Disease Society

The UAE Rare Disease Society (UAERDS) is a nonprofit organization established to represent rare disease patients and their families across the UAE. Declared by the Ministry of Community Development in 2018 and licensed by the Community Development Authority in 2022, UAERDS advocates for those affected by rare diseases. The society provides a unified voice and promotes awareness. By fostering community engagement, encouraging scientific research, and offering emotional support, UAERDS aims to improve the quality of life for rare disease patients and raise awareness within the UAE and beyond.
