United Airlines will become the first airline in the US to join the Hidden Disabilities Sunflower program.
Launching in Spring 2025, the Sunflower is designed for guests with non-visible disabilities or conditions who may need extra help, understanding, or simply a little more time.
Those with a non-apparent disability or condition may choose to wear a Sunflower lanyard, pin, wristband, or sticker to make their disability visible to United Airlines employees.
