A large number of government departments, institutions, and private companies are participating in AccessAbilities Expo 2025 to showcase the best and latest innovations and services provided to People of Determination.
Participating senior officials and company representatives praised the exhibition, the largest of its kind in the Middle East, North Africa, and South Asia, and its role as a strategic platform that supports and aligns with the UAE’s efforts to be the world’s leading provider of care and empowerment for People of Determination. It also aligns with the objectives of Dubai’s Economic Agenda ‘D33’, which aims to make Dubai one of the top three cities for living, investing, and working.
A National Priority
His Excellency Lieutenant-General Abdullah Khalifa Al Marri, Commander-in-Chief of Dubai Police, emphasized that Dubai Police’s participation in the AccessAbilities Expo-2025 embodies the vision and guidance of the wise leadership. “This initiative is dedicated to fostering an inclusive community that serves all members of society, with a particular focus on empowering People of Determination as a national priority.”
He added: “People of Determination are an integral part of our community. Our duty is to ensure the sustainable development of our security and police services to meet their needs. This commitment aligns with the National Policy for Empowering People of Determination, the Dubai Quality of Life Strategy 2033, and the ‘My Community… A City for Everyone’ initiative, which aims to make Dubai a fully inclusive and accessible city for People of Determination.”
The top officials said: “Our participation in the Expo reflects our unwavering commitment to enhancing the quality of life for all community members, without exception. We aim to provide comprehensive and integrated security, police, and community services that address the needs of People of Determination, ensuring a safe and supportive environment for their meaningful contributions to our nation.” Additionally, he added, this is an opportunity to showcase the innovative initiatives developed by Dubai Police in this domain, including smart solutions, training programs, and services designed to meet the diverse needs of individuals with disabilities, all aligned with the country’s ambitious policies and its leading humanitarian efforts.
An Exceptional Platform for Global Partnerships
His Excellency Eng. Marwan Ahmad bin Ghalita, Director-General of Dubai Municipality, emphasized that the AccessAbilities Expo is an exceptional platform for strengthening global partnerships and reaffirming Dubai and the UAE’s leadership in adopting an inclusive vision that integrates People of Determination into every aspect of community life.
He said: “Dubai Municipality is committed to creating a positive and sustainable impact on the lives of People of Determination by empowering them and ensuring equal access to opportunities across all aspects of life—from workplace inclusion to the development of accessible recreational infrastructure and smart services.”
He added: “Providing an inclusive and sustainable environment that enhances their quality of life is one of our top priorities, in line with our vision of making Dubai a fully inclusive and accessible city. With every step we take, we strive to make Dubai a city for everyone—one that embodies equality, innovation, and sustainability, strengthening its position as the best city in the world to live and work.”
Empowerment as a National Commitment
Her Excellency Hessa bint Essa Buhumaid, Director-General of the Community Development Authority in Dubai (CDA), stated: “Empowering People of Determination is not a choice but a national and moral commitment that reflects the vision of our wise leadership in placing human quality of life at the forefront of priorities. The Expo embodies a global platform through which we affirm that Dubai does not merely adopt the best international practices but also shapes the future through pioneering partnerships and innovative technologies that open doors to education, employment, and community participation for all.”
He added: “In the Year of Community, we reaffirm that true development cannot be achieved without the inclusion and empowerment of People of Determination, as they are partners in building and contributors to the journey of prosperity.”
Delivering the Best Experiences
His Excellency Issam Kazim, CEO of the Dubai Corporation for Tourism and Commerce Marketing under the Department of Economy and Tourism (DET), said: “Dubai’s commitment to offering exceptional experiences to visitors reflects the visionary guidance of His Highness Sheikh Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum, Vice President and Prime Minister of UAE and Ruler of Dubai.”
He added: “We are committed to providing outstanding experiences for all guests, ensuring safety, hospitality, and accessibility for visitors and residents alike—values that define Dubai as a leading global destination for living, tourism, and business.”
He commented: “Hosting the AccessAbilities Expo 2025 reaffirms Dubai’s leading role in promoting accessible tourism locally and globally. It strengthens Dubai’s position as a preferred destination, particularly after being named the first certified autism-friendly tourist destination in the Eastern Hemisphere—a milestone achieved through close collaboration between government entities and strategic partners.”
He concluded: “Collaborative efforts and initiatives promoting accessible tourism are fundamental pillars of Dubai’s Economic Agenda (D33), reflecting the spirit of the Year of Community through continued support for social inclusion and genuine belonging for all.”

His Excellency Mohammed Hassan Al Shehhi, Acting CEO of Mohammed Bin Rashid Housing Establishment, said: “Mohammed Bin Rashid Housing Establishment is proud to be a strategic partner of the AccessAbilities Expo 2025, reflecting its firm commitment to building a more inclusive society where every individual, regardless of ability, has the right to safe, comfortable, and dignified housing.”
He remarked: “As Dubai’s leading housing authority, we view accessibility not merely as a compliance requirement but as a fundamental human right. Accordingly, we are dedicated to seamlessly integrating universal design principles into all our projects, ensuring that they carefully meet the diverse needs of the entire community. Comprehensive Empowerment and Sustainable Support
His Excellency Abdullah Al Humaidan, Secretary-General of the Zayed Higher Organization for People of Determination, said: “The participation of Zayed Higher Organization for People of Determination in the Expo comes as part of its strategic efforts to enhance the inclusion of People of Determination in society and empower them to contribute effectively across various fields, in line with the wise leadership’s vision of supporting inclusivity and equal opportunities.”
He added: “Our participation aims to strengthen cooperation with relevant entities and supporting institutions, exchange expertise, and showcase solutions and innovations that contribute to empowering People of Determination and improving their quality of life. It also provides the local community with an opportunity to learn about success stories and gain knowledge of best practices in delivering support and services to this group.”
He further commented: “At the Organization’s pavilion, the exhibition will focus on showcasing its digital services, in addition to the products of its agricultural and vocational rehabilitation workshops branded under ‘Al Nahla.’ These include organic products, dairy products, bags, scarves, perfumes, candles, and artistic handicrafts—all created by the Organization’s members, reflecting their skills and creativity across various fields.”

Ramesh Cidambi, Managing Director of Dubai Duty Free, said: “In line with the vision of the Rulers to transform Dubai and the UAE into a nation that is friendly to People of Determination, Dubai Duty Free is pleased to once again support the 7th edition of the AccessAbilities Expo as a Strategic Partner. Science-Based Care and Rehabilitation
Dr. Samaneh Menteghi, Medical Director of NeuroSolution Center, said: “With deep pride and purpose, we joined the Expo to champion inclusion and empower People of Determination.”
She added: “Our participation reflects an ongoing commitment to evidence-based care, family partnership, and solutions that translate science into everyday function and independence. We are proudly based in Dubai Healthcare City, with three additional branches in the US.”
As a center for advanced neurorehabilitation and regenerative medicine, she said: “the Centre delivers comprehensive pathways of care: QEEG-guided assessments that illuminate neural patterns; targeted photobiomodulation; vestibular and sensorimotor integration; cognitive and language rehabilitation; gait, balance, and coordination programs; and innovative regenerative approaches under appropriate clinical governance. Ghassan Suleiman, CEO of the AccessAbilities Expo, stated that the event has evolved into a global platform for innovation and knowledge exchange, bringing together industry leaders, decision-makers, and People of Determination to explore and experience the latest technologies and solutions firsthand.
He said: “This year marks the largest edition in the Expo’s history, hosting four key conferences: the Autism Behavior Analysis Conference, the Accessible Travel and Tourism International Conference, the Conference for the Deaf and Hard of Hearing, and the Inclusion in Education Conference. The event also offers free medical and rehabilitation assessments, making it a holistic experience serving all segments of society.”
