Dr. Khalid Al-Salami, Chairman of the Board of Directors of the Association of Parents of People with Disabilities, revealed the launch of the “School Bag” initiative in its 2nd edition, for children and students with disabilities affiliated with the association, in addition to holding the closing ceremony of the summer agenda for 2023, and honoring contributing and supporting associations, at the Holy Quran Academy in Sharjah.

Dr. Khalid Al Salami, Chairman of the Board of Directors of the Association of Parents of People with Disabilities, confirmed that the association was established by the high orders of His Highness Sheikh Dr. Sultan bin Muhammad Al Qasimi, Supreme Council Member and Ruler of Sharjah, with the aim of representing the families of people with disabilities, supporting their requirements and motivating this important segment of society.
Al-Salami revealed to “Sharjah 24” the launch of the “School Bag” initiative in its 2nd edition, for children and students with disabilities affiliated with the association, in addition to holding the closing ceremony of the summer agenda for 2023, and honoring the contributing and supporting associations, at the Holy Quran Academy in Sharjah, noting that the ceremony included the presentation of the school bag to all students and members of the association, coinciding with the beginning of the school year.
The ceremony also included honoring the female employees affiliated with the association, coinciding with Emirati Women’s Day, which falls on December 28 every year, in recognition of their effective efforts in serving the community.
