Emirati Children’s Day: Boy, 10, becomes passport officer for a day at Dubai International Airport

A 10-year-old boy celebrated Emirati Children’s Day by experiencing what it’s like to be a passport officer at Dubai International Airport for a day.

The General Directorate of Residency and Foreigners Affairs in Dubai (GDRFA Dubai) fulfilled Omar’s dream by providing an immersive experience. GDRFA Dubai Director-General Lieutenant General Mohammed Ahmed Al Marri said the initiative reflects the organisation’s dedication to positively engaging with children’s aspirations and enhancing the capabilities of future generations. He added that the child will be considered as a potential future member of the workforce.
