The Kuwaiti Association of follow up on issues of the disabled

The beginning of the establishment of the association:-

• Within the celebrations of the International Day of the Disabled, which was set up by the Department of Special Education Schools and then the Handicapped Club, and through the preparatory meetings, it was necessary to collect some of the needs, requirements, issues and rights that flowed to us from people with disabilities and the bodies that represent them, which were arranged, reformulated and submitted as recommendations to the National Assembly. And we followed it up with the officials and the competent authorities.
Because of the importance of these issues, the idea of ​​forming a voluntary committee was crystallized, and the voluntary committee was named to follow up on issues of the disabled in 2003. It is made up of representatives of the authorities that care and serve the disabled in Kuwait. After a period of time, it was submitted to the responsible authorities to declare it as a public benefit association.
