Inspired by the vision and legacy of Sheikh Zayed bin Sultan Al Nahyan, the UAE Genetic Diseases Association (UAEGDA) was established in 2004 as a tribute to the Founding Father of the UAE and his commitment to healthcare, compassion, and community well-being. As a non-profit organization based in the United Arab Emirates, UAEGDA is dedicated to supporting individuals and families affected by genetic disorders through education, advocacy, awareness initiatives, and community support programs. Since its establishment, the association has grown into a leading voice in the field of genetic diseases and genomic awareness across the UAE.
