Why this Forum?
Because change begins with dialogue, and awareness is the first step towards empowerment, the International Deaf Forum: Empowerment and Partnership comes as a landmark event in the region, The Forum is organised by the AccessAbilities Expo in cooperation with the UAE Deaf Association.
The Forum aims to shed light on the daily challenges faced by People of Determination from the deaf and hard-of-hearing community, and to showcase innovative solutions through modern technologies and applications that facilitate communication, opening doors to education, employment, and full participation in society.
In a day filled with knowledge and inspiration, a distinguished group of deaf speakers and experts in assistive technologies will gather to discuss key topics of importance to the deaf and hard-of-hearing community and their families, as well as the success stories achieved by this segment of our society.
This forum is not merely an event, but an open invitation to everyone who wishes to be part of positive change: from government entities, hospitality and travel sector professionals, and the medical and educational sectors, to technology companies, employers in both the public and private sectors, and individuals keen to support and empower the deaf.
Join us this coming October to witness impactful discussions, practical solutions, and fresh perspectives that transform the challenges of deafness into opportunities, contributing to the creation of a more inclusive and friendly world for millions of deaf individuals around the globe.
