Dubai Police

This Service allows People of Determination physical:, and hearing and sight impairments; who are living in the Emirate of Dubai to subscribe to this Service. Detailed information should be properly provided and recorded in the Incident Management System (IMS), available in the Command and Control Center of Dubai Police. When a distress call is received, patient location will be determined, based on the information entered in the subscription form, on a road map. Such patients will be given high priority of receiving aid and rapid response..

Dubai Electricity and Water Authority

Under the The National Policy for Empowering People of Determination, launched by HH Sheikh Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum, Vice President and Prime Minister of the UAE and Ruler of Dubai, People with disabilities are referred to as ‘People of Determination’ to recognise their achievements.

DEWA is committed to supporting the inclusion and empowerment of stakeholders in the work environment and society as a whole.

The ‘My Community… A City for Everyone’ initiative was launched by HH Sheikh Hamdan bin Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum, Crown Prince of Dubai and Chairman of the Executive Council of Dubai, to fully transform Dubai into a friendly city for People of Determination by 2020; thus, contributing to the achievement of the goals of Dubai Plan 2021 to make Dubai home to a cohesive, harmonious, and mutually supportive society.

It has also put in its priority to provide multiple and diverse services that are distinguished by quality to this category. The People of Determination have also been taken care of by updating, developing and facilitating their services in the Municipality facilities, services, centers and projects in accordance with the best international standards and experiences, inspired by the vision of Dubai government to transfer the Emirate of Dubai in to a city that is friendly to the People of Determination.

Community Development Authority

The Community Development Authority provides all means of social care for people of determination and their families, as it works to empower them and integrate them into society, by providing social protection and ensuring a decent life for them, which qualifies them to be productive individuals. The Community Development Authority puts forward  several specialized  initiatives and programs aimed at empowering them, taking care of their needs, and qualifying them to overcome all the challenges they face and reach their full potential.
